Since the guys are out of town, a few of us thought it'd be a good idea to get together. So there will be a little potluck and movie at my house this Saturday night at 6pm. Email or call me and I'll give you the directions if you need them.

California Trip in June

Are any of you planning on joining the team for their trip to Southern California on June 25th? I just bought my tickets and got a pretty good deal ($173 total), but I think they're going fast. Here are the details if you want to get on the same flight as the guys:

Let me know if you are coming and we will figure out if we need to rent a car. It would be really cheap if we all go in on it.

Also, you'll need to take care of paying for your own hotel room, but you'll be able to get a deal since the whole team is renting rooms at the same hotel.

Reserved Season Seats

Coach Watkins is going to reserve a great block of seats for all of the fiancees, wives and their family members. Fiancees and wives get free season seats - and any family members get them for $30 each.

We are finalizing this tomorrow, so if you haven't already, let me know asap how many you'd like (total.)

Also, the jersey we chose is out of stock - so we are getting the same one in white and light blue instead of white and black. The order is in - I'll let you know as soon as they get here.

OUCH!

Brent and I are very lucky to have the support of his family and mine in regard to attending games. I was able to go to the game on Saturday in Cali fortunately due to the kindness of my father. It was a definite blessing because, as many of you may know, Brent had a little bit of a run in you could say with another player. I would have died if I had to hear about it over the phone. Brent and another player went up for a header and pretty much headed each other. The other player was taken away in an ambulance and then life flighted because of trauma. Luckily, we only spent 3 hours in the ER getting Brent's head glued back together. Here is a picture of Brent's head and one of your boys. They played such a great game. They played really well together. It is fun to see them start playing as a team and getting back in their game.

Last night we had a bbq at coach Watkins' and chose out this jersey for the women. We will have it within the next two weeks with numbers and last names on the back. If you haven't told me what size you want (XS-XL), let me know. I will probably place the order today.

Coach will also pick some great seats for us so we can sit together all season. Please let me know if you would like him to reserve extra seats for your family members in that section.

Also, our first home game is Saturday, May 23, so Clay and I will invite you all over for lunch on Thursday or Friday of that week (I will be out of town on Saturday.)

Correction

Whoops ... guess we won't be having you over for lunch on May 16th. I thought it was a home game, but it is away. Sorry about that!

DINNER AT COACH WATKINS'

Coach Watkins has invited the team and wives/fiancées to have dinner at his house this Thursday night at 7pm. We can all just caravan over there together after practice.

We will also be picking out jerseys with your man's number on the back - cool, right?

Another heads up - Clay and I want to invite you and your husbands/fiances to our house for lunch at 1pm on May 16th before the game. The whole team will be invited ... not just the couples. Details to come.
